SandPiper SB Series Pumps are air operated diaphragm pumps. The SB Series uses solid ball-type check valves and the pumps are available in a variety of configurations. Porting options include top, side and bottom porting to meet application needs.
The line of SandPiper SB Series Pumps includes the SB1-A / SB25 model. Standard features of this pump are:
- Displacement Per Stroke: .09 gallon / .34 liter
- Maximum Flow: 42 gallon / 159 liter per minute
- Maximum Discharge Pressure: 125 PSI / 8.6 BAR
- Accommodates Pipe Size of 1² NPTF / 25 mm – 1² BSPT
- Maximum Solid Size Capability: 1/4² / 6.3 mm
Performance is based on a flooded suction, elastomer pump with water at ambient conditions. Changes in material and hydraulic conditions may cause deviations of 5% or more. Maximum operating temperatures are based on materials used.
Ball valves are available in a variety of elastomers. Superior suction lift is provided with Virgin PTFE. The SB Series of metallic pumps are ideal for use with any thin to viscous liquids and handle small solids in the liquid.
Air-Operated Double Diaphragm pumps can be operated with natural gas, nitrogen or compressed air. Dual port options include single or dual port discharge and dual port suction. The bottom porting set up is suited for use with liquids that contain small solids. Gravity provides assistance with discharge.
