The Sandpiper S20 metal pump is an air-operated, double diaphragm, Design Level 1 pump. The S20 metal series is available with an optional solenoid shifted air valve. The air distribution system is a no-lube, no stall design. Additional lubrication is not required.

Sandpiper S20 pumps are available in three base metals, cast iron, aluminum and stainless steel, with different materials to meet chemical handling needs. Pumps with PVDF offer excellent chemical resistance and high UV protection. Maximum operating temperature for PVDF is 250° F / 121° C. Ratings are based on an elastomer fitted pump and water at ambient conditions. Variations may cause deviations of 5% or more.
Pumps using Neoprene are good general-purpose pumps. This material has good oil, solvent and chemical resistance. Maximum operating temperature for Neoprene is 200° F / 93° C. Other choice in materials include Virgin PTFE, Santoprene, Hytrel, Polypropylene, FKM (Fluorocarbon), Conductive Acetal, Urethane, Nylon and UHMW PE.
A 5-year limited warranty is provided for the Sandpiper S20 metal pump. All Sandpiper pumps are manufactured under ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 9001 Quality System certifications. An optional 8-foot ground strap is available for ATEX compliance. Modification kits may be needed for compliance depending on material chosen.
