SandPIPER S15 Plastic Pump

The Sandpiper S15 plastic pump is an air-operated double diaphragm, Design Level 3 pump. Sandpiper pumps meet the European Community Directive 2006/42/EC on Machinery. The compressed air system requires no lubrication and uses a no-stall design. Feature choices include ball or flap valves and dual porting options.

Standard Sandpiper S15 plastic pump features include:

  • Displacement Per Stroke: 0.43 gallon / 1.63 liter
  • Maximum Flow: 100 gallon / 378 liter per minute
  • Maximum Discharge Pressure: 100 PSI / 7 BAR
  • Maximum Discharge Head: 231 ft. / 70 meters
  • Maximum Solids Handling: 0.47 in. / 12 mm.
  • Suction Port: 1 ½ in. ANSI Flange / PN10 40 mm DIN Flange
  • Discharge Port: 1 ½ in. ANSI Flange / PN10 40 mm DIN Flange
  • Air Inlet: 3/4 in. / 19 mm NPT
  • Air Exhaust: 1 in. NPT / 25.4 mm

Sandpiper S15 plastic pumps are available in three different case materials; the Polypropylene and PVDF versions have an optional spill containment feature. A total of 13 different materials are available to meet handling requirements. Pumps with Conductive Acetal are durable and impact resistant. They have a good resistance to most chemicals except for strong oxidizers and acids. The maximum operating temperature for Conductive Acetal is 190° F / 88° C.

Pumps using EPDM have a maximum operating temperature of 280° F / 138° C. EPDM offers good chemical and water resistance but less resistance to solvents and oils. Other available materials include Santoprene, Polypropylene, PVDF, Nylon, FKM, and Urethane.

Non-metallic pumps are not UV stable. Excessive exposure to UV rays must be avoided. Sandpiper pumps are produced in accordance to ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 9001 Quality System standards. An optional 8-foot ground strap and kits are available for ATEX compliance. This pump includes a 5-year limited warranty.
