The Sandpiper PB1-4 (¼) plastic pump is a non-metallic, Design Level 3 pump. This model is a compressed air-operated, double diaphragm pump. The pump is engineered to require no lubrication and is well suited for small pumping operations.
The Sandpiper PB1-4 (¼) pump features include:

Sandpiper PB1-4 plastic pumps are available in five materials for different chemical requirements. Pumps using Santoprene injection molded thermoplastic have superior abrasion resistance and long life. Maximum operating temperature for Santoprene is 275º F / 135º C. Santoprene is also useful for cold operations and works to -40º F / -40º C.
Pumps manufactured with Virgin PTFE have superior resistance to high temperatures and are resistant to most chemicals. The maximum operating temperature for Virgin PTFE is 220º F / 104º C. This pump series is also available with PVDF, Conductive Acetal and Polypropylene. Non-metallic pumps and any plastic components are not UV stable and should not be exposed to extended periods of UV light.
Sandpiper pumps are produced under ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 9001 Quality Systems certifications. Model PB1-4 with Conductive Acetal is ATEX compliant with optional 8-foot ground strap.
