The Sandpiper S05 plastic pump is a Design Level 2, air-operated double diaphragm pump. Options for the S05 pump include a dual port configuration and solenoid shifted air valve. S05 pumps, with no aluminum materials, are ATEX compliant. The compressed air system is engineered to require no lubrication.

Sandpiper S05 plastic pumps are available with Polypropylene or PVDF casing. A variety of materials can be chosen for chemical handling requirements. Pumps with Neoprene are considered all purpose but can be affected by strong ketones and oxidizers. Maximum operating temperature for Neoprene is 200º F / 93º C.
Pumps using Virgin PTFE have a strong chemical resistance. Maximum operating temperature for Virgin PTFE is 220º F / 104º C. Other material choices include Conductive Acetal, FKM, Hytrel, Nitrile, Santoprene, UHMW PE and Urethane.
Plastic components and nonmetallic pumps are not UV Stable. Excess exposure to UV light should be avoided. Sandpiper pumps are manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems certifications. An 8-foot ground strap is available for controlling static electrical sparking. This pump is covered by a 5-year limited warranty.
