The Sandpiper II Nonmetallic Pump Series are air-operated double diaphragm Type 3 pumps. These pumps can pass the acid test and have rugged durable construction. Sandpiper II Range pumps are designed to replace the older EB Range models.

Models in the Sandpiper II Nonmetallic pump series are available with Nylon, Conductive Acetal, PVDF and Polypropylene and additional construction options. All hardware is manufactured with chemically resistant, specially coated materials. No clamps are used in the design.
Pumps using Santoprene injection mold elastomer have a long mechanical life and superior abrasive resistance. Maximum operating temperature for this material is 275º F / 135º C. Virgin PTFE offers superior chemical resistance, pumps manufactured with PTFE are rated for a maximum of 220º F / 104º C. Conductive Acetal provides a maximum operating temperature of 190º F / 88º C.
Performance ratings for these pumps are based on an elastomer fitted pump with water at ambient conditions. Variations materials and hydraulic conditions may cause deviations of 5% or more.
The pumps utilize a ball-type check valve and operate on compressed air. The air valves used have a no-lubrication, no-stall design. However, if a poor quality of compressed air is used, lubrication of the supply may be required.
