The Sandpiper S1F metal pump is an air-operated double diaphragm, Design Level 1 pump. The S1F metal series is available with an optional piped exhaust muffler system. The air distribution system is engineered to operate without lubrication.

Sandpiper S1F pumps can be purchased in various materials to meet handling requirements. Pumps with Polypropylene have strong acid and alkali resistance but low chlorine resistance. Maximum operating temperature for Polypropylene is 180º F / 82º C.
Pumps using Santoprene have a long mechanical life and superior abrasion resistance. Maximum operating temperature for Santoprene is 275º F / 135º C. Santoprene is also durable to -40º F / -40º C. Other available materials include Virgin PTFE, Hytrel, FKM (Fluorocarbon), Neoprene, Nitrile, Nylon and UHMW PE.
Conductive polypropylene, conductive PVDF, or conductive acetal pumps should not be used when the pumps may be subjected to grease, oil, or hydraulic fluids. Pumps are manufactured under ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 9001 Quality certifications. An optional 8-foot ground strap should be used to reduce electrical sparking. The Sandpiper S1F metal pump comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
