The Sandpiper S30 plastic pump is a non-metallic, Design Level 2 pump. The S30 series is a ball type check valve and air-operated double diaphragm pump. This pump is designed to be powered by compressed air and no lubrication is required.

Sandpiper S30 plastic pumps are available in four materials for different handling requirements. Pumps manufactured with Virgin PTFE have superior resistance to high temperatures and are resistant to most chemicals. The maximum operating temperature for Virgin PTFE is 350º F / 177º C.
Pumps using Santoprene injection molded thermoplastic have long mechanical life and excellent abrasion resistance. Maximum operating temperature for Santoprene is 275º F / 135º C. These pumps are also available with PVDF and Polypropylene. Maximum operating temperatures models with PVDF material is 250º F / 121º C. Polypropylene pumps should not exceed 180º F / 82º C.
