The Sandpiper E02 pump is a basic metallic pump. The E02 metallic is manufactured from 316L stainless steel. This pump’s basic construction style allows for easy maintenance. Pumps are also self-priming to make using them easier. E02 pumps are air-operated double diaphragm Design Level 4.

The Sandpiper E02 pump is available in a wide range of material options to meet a number of chemical handling needs. Pumps using Nitrile are oil resistant and good for general-purpose use. These should not be used with acetone or other highly polar solvents. The maximum operating temperature for Nitrile pumps is 176º F / 80º C.
Pumps utilizing Neoprene provide resistance to vegetable oil, fats, grease and other oils and solvents. They should not be used for strong oxidizing acids. The maximum operating temperature with Neoprene is 212º F / 100º C. Other material choices include EPDM, Santoprene, Virgin PTFE, Viton and Polypropylene.
Both E02 and X02 metal pumps use a ball-type check valve. Sandpiper pumps do not require further lubrication. If lubrication is desired, only light #2 lithium grease should be used, other grades can cause intermittent failures.
Sandpiper E02 pumps meet Environmental Management System ISO14001 and ISO9001 certification requirements. Sandpiper model X02 Metallic pumps are ATEX compliant and supplied with an earth ground cable. All pumps have a 5-year Limited Warranty.
